Community Guidelines

Building an inspiring community for video editors

Last updated: 2025-10-29

1. Our Mission

Raivcoo is an inspiration platform for video editors and motion designers to discover and share creative inspiration. We're building a space where creative professionals can find visual ideas, showcase their work, and learn from the community.

These guidelines help maintain a supportive, respectful, and inspiring environment for all creators.

2. Upload Requirements

To maintain platform quality and performance, all uploads must meet these requirements:

  • One media upload per day maximum (video OR image) - focus on quality over quantity
  • Videos: MP4 format only, maximum 50MB
  • Images: JPEG, PNG, or WebP format, maximum 10MB
  • Content must be related to video editing, motion graphics, or visual design

3. Content Quality Standards

We value quality over quantity. Your uploads should inspire and showcase excellence in video editing, motion graphics, and visual design.

When you upload content to Raivcoo, we may use it to promote the platform externally (e.g., on social media, marketing materials, or other promotional channels). If you've added social media handles to your profile (such as Twitter/X), we may tag those accounts when featuring your work. This helps give you credit and exposure while promoting the platform.

What we encourage:

  • High-quality video editing and motion graphics work
  • Original creations that showcase your editing or design skills
  • Still frames, title cards, and motion graphics stills
  • Well-attributed inspiration from other creators (with permission)
  • Work that demonstrates technique, creativity, or innovation

What doesn't belong:

  • Low-effort content, random screenshots, or unedited images
  • Unrelated videos (vlogs, gaming, tutorials without motion design)
  • Repetitive uploads of similar content
  • Content that doesn't relate to video editing, motion graphics, or visual design

4. Attribution & Giving Credit

Proper attribution is the foundation of creative respect. Always credit the original creator when sharing inspiration.

When uploading YOUR work:

  • If it's 100% original, mark it as 'Original Work'
  • If inspired by or based on someone else's work, provide clear attribution
  • Credit any assets, templates, or tutorials you used
  • Include source links when possible

When sharing INSPIRATION:

  • Always include the original creator's name
  • Provide a link to the original source
  • Confirm the content is publicly available or you have permission
  • Add context about why this piece inspires you (optional but encouraged)

Plagiarism will not be tolerated:

  • Don't claim someone else's work as your own
  • Don't remove watermarks or credits from others' work
  • Don't upload slightly modified versions without attribution
  • Don't pretend inspiration content is your original creation

5. Respectful Community Behavior

We're all here to find inspiration and grow. Treat other creators the way you want to be treated.

Be constructive:

  • Provide helpful feedback that helps creators improve
  • Celebrate others' successes and creative achievements
  • Share knowledge and techniques when asked
  • Engage in discussions with curiosity and openness

Zero tolerance for:

  • Harassment, bullying, or targeted attacks on other creators
  • Hate speech or discrimination of any kind
  • Spam, self-promotion abuse, or manipulation of engagement
  • Threats, doxxing, or sharing personal information
  • Impersonation of other creators or brands
