Information We Collect
We collect minimal information to provide our inspiration platform:
- Account information (name, email, profile)
- Authentication data (login tokens, verification)
- Media you upload (videos)
- Basic technical data (IP address, browser type)
- Anonymous view and click counts for sponsor placements (see Sponsored Placements below)
Media Uploads
Users can upload videos to share on the platform. Supported formats are listed on the upload page.
All uploaded media is stored securely on our servers.
Your media content remains your property — we only store and display it on the platform.
We may use your uploaded media, in whole or in part, to promote Raivcoo externally (e.g., on social media or other promotional materials).
If you have added social media handles (such as your Twitter/X username) to your Raivcoo profile, Raivcoo may mention or tag those accounts when featuring your content externally. By adding social media handles to your profile, you agree that they may be used for attribution in promotional posts.
In the future, we plan to introduce an option for users to allow or restrict others from downloading their media. By default, downloads will be disabled.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely to operate our inspiration platform:
- Display and manage media uploads
- Maintain user accounts and authentication
- Ensure platform functionality and security
- Respond to support requests
- Comply with legal requirements when necessary
- Promote Raivcoo and related content externally
- Show sponsor placements and report their results to sponsors as totals
Sponsor Accounts
If you are a sponsor, we store the information needed to run your campaigns:
- Company name and logo
- Ad text, thumbnail image, link and button text, including changes you request
- Campaign dates, review decisions and any reason we gave for declining a change
- Views, clicks and click rate for your own ads
Purchases, Licenses, and Payment Data
If you purchase a Product or start a free trial, we collect and process additional information to manage your license:
- Purchase records, including the product, tier, price paid, and purchase date
- License keys and device activation data, used to enforce the device limits of your purchased tier
- Trial start and end dates, used to enforce the one-trial-per-account limit per Product
- Order identifiers from our payment providers (currently Payhip and PayPal)
- Basic technical data (IP address, device/browser information) collected at the time of purchase or license activation, used for fraud prevention and trial-abuse detection
Payment Processing
Payments for Products are handled by third-party payment processors (currently Payhip and PayPal). We do not store your full payment card number or banking details on our servers.
Payment processors have their own privacy policies governing how they handle your payment information; we encourage you to review them.
We receive limited transaction information from these processors (such as order ID, amount, and status) to fulfill your purchase and manage your license.
Desktop Application and Plugin Data
If you install a Raivcoo desktop application or plugin (such as After Bite or an After Effects extension), it may communicate with our servers to verify your license, check for software updates, and authenticate your account.
This communication may include your license key, device identifier, product version, and account authentication tokens.
We do not collect the content of your After Effects projects, comps, or media files through these Products unless a specific feature explicitly states otherwise.
Email Communications & Notifications
We send minimal email communications and may offer optional notifications in the future:
Essential Communications (Cannot be disabled)
- Account verification and security alerts
- Important platform announcements
- Support responses to your inquiries
Optional Notifications (Can be disabled when available)
- Website activity notifications via email
- Updates about new features or content
- Community highlights and trends
- You will have full control to disable these optional notifications in your account settings when this feature becomes available
Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell your personal information or media content to anyone.
We do not share your data with third parties except when required by law or with your explicit consent.
Sponsored Placements
- Raivcoo may show clearly labeled sponsor placements: a card in the feed, a slot in the site header and a banner on media pages
- We place sponsors ourselves. We do not use advertising networks or data brokers
- Sponsors never receive your personal information. They only see totals for their own ads: views, clicks and click rate
- To count views and clicks, we record an event each time a sponsor placement is seen or clicked (which ad, which placement, and a session identifier). We use these events only to report and verify results
- A sponsor placement links to the sponsor's own website, which has its own privacy policy
- We will never sell your personal information, media content, or creative work to advertisers
Your Privacy Rights
You have full control over your data and uploaded media:
- Access your uploaded media and account information
- Update or correct your profile details
- Delete your uploaded media at any time
- Request complete account deletion by contacting support (note: this is different from deleting individual media files)
- Request a copy of your data
- Contact us about any privacy concerns
Data Security
We use secure servers to store your media content and account data.
All data transmission is encrypted for your protection.
We recommend using strong passwords to keep your account secure.
Children's Privacy
This platform is not intended for children under 13 years of age.
If we discover information from a child under 13 has been collected, it will be deleted immediately.
Changes to Privacy Policy
We will notify users of any major changes to this privacy policy.
Continued use of the platform after changes indicates acceptance.
